Young Careerist

The Young Careerist program is designed young women professionals in the beginning stages of their careers.  It helps “rising stars” build the skills needed to advance their careers. BPW’s Young Careerist program empowers young women between the ages of 21 and 35 to succeed in today’s workplace.

As a part of the award selection process, contestants give a five minute talk, (selecting a topic from BPW’s list) and will be interviewed by the BPW Honors Committee. There is much potential for growth and self-discovery while participating in this competition. The award is a great resume builder as well. The award consists of a beautiful plaque, a generous gift certificate, and the opportunity to be involved in an excellent network of professional women.

The awards ceremony is held in the Spring of each year.  BPW has held this Honors Program for many years since its founding in 1930.  In addition to the Young Careerist, the awards program honors a Woman of Achievement and an Employer of the Year.
