About Barbara

I was born on the beautiful island of Terceira, one of the nine islands that form a larger group of Portuguese owned islands called the Azores. Raised near the Air Force base, widely known as Lajes, I was introduced to English and the American life style at the early age of five. As a result I grew up speaking Portuguese and English as a bilingual. My love for foreign languages and cultures continued throughout my life  and as a result I am a trilingual who speaks Portuguese, English and French. With a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland, a B.A. in French Literature from Montana State University, and a Masters in Translation from Kent State University, reflects my passion for education.

My success in real estate is attributed to experience, professionalism, and commitment to service in an area in which I enjoy living. Helping individuals find the right property is one of my strongest values. I constantly educate myself on the latest trends in the marketplace as it is my goal to be able to provide you with top notch service. Currently I am working on my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation which emphasizes my duties and obligations to my clients as buyers.
