E. Casey Magan
Waddell & Magan, PC Attorney's at Law
About Casey
My name is Casey Magan, and I am a partner in the Bozeman, Montana-based law office of
Waddell & Magan. I am a trial lawyer and mediator.
Waddell & Magan, PC Attorneys at Law
As a trial lawyer, I represent family-owned and small businesses, and injured persons and their
families, with a focus on litigation. I know that when you or a member of your family has been
seriously injured, or your business has been overpowered by a larger company, you need a firm
and attorneys that you can trust not only to take you through negotiation to a good settlement, but, who also have the
specialized abilities to successfully go to trial and win, if necessary. That’s what “trial lawyer” means.
E. Casey Magan, Mediator
I am also currently accepting mediation appointments in complex cases. Mediation is a method of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), with arbitration being the other. Because I am an experienced litigator, I have handled cases ranging from commercial disputes, agricultural cases, divorce actions, and personal injury lawsuits to appointments as guardian ad litem in cases involving the welfare of children.
M
y experience as a
board certified personal injury trial lawyer
in Texas makes me keenly aware of both sides’ strengths and weaknesses in any given situation. Moreover, the time, expense and uncertainties of obtaining “justice” at trial are very real risks. By creating the Bozeman Mediation Center, I hope to allay some of those risks to allow people and their
businesses some sense of satisfaction in the resolution of their important legal matters.
Fees
as a Trial Lawyer – S
mall-Business Contingency-Fee Arrangements
My firm takes its fee when we obtain a favorable settlement or verdict for you. This is called a “contingent fee,” meaning it is “contingent” upon recovery. If there is no recovery, we do not charge a fee.
In addition to representing people and their families on a contingent fee, my firm represents small businesses and professionals in contingency fee-based commercial litigation matters on a selective basis, and there is never a charge for consultation.
