Bozeman BPW President Paula Beswick, Honors Committee Chair Kris Zimmermann, and the Reverend Roxanne Klingensmith were the emcees for the evening. The highly sought awards were given for the 2011

Employer of the Year
.
2011 Honoree: Esther Nelson
Esther has led a full life as a business woman, volunteer and benefactor for many
community organizations and in the field of education. She served 32 years as the
Director of Business Services for the Bozeman Schools, and District Clerk for the
School Board. She formed the Montana Association of School Business Officials and volunteered to develop and teach summer school courses at MSU in School Business Management for educators from around the State, which she did for sixteen years.
She actively manages her ten acre Park in northwest Bozeman, where she lives and
offers affordable housing to the community. Esther has also been active on many other boards of directors over the years including those of the Pioneer Museum, Montana Blue Cross Blue Shield, Caring Foundation for Children, the Friends of MontanaPBS, and others.
