 Meet the Doctor

I am Dr. Kimberly Maxwell and I am dedicated to helping you and your families get what you want from your life experiences.  Whether you are acutely affected by poor health (pain, headaches, low energy, stress, depression, sick all the time) and/or the diagnosis of chronic disease (arthritis, pain, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, acid reflux, ADHD/ADD, depression, anxiety) or are a person seeking to refine your health and wellness for personal performance, pregnancy and prevention, I will help you find personalized solutions to your unique situations, ailments and wellness aspirations.
 
I received my BS degree in Human Biology from the College of St. Catherine’s in St. Paul, MN followed up in 1997, with earning my professional degree, Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in MN. 

My first professional opportunity was entertained in London, England where I associated in a very busy clinic.   In the fall of 1998, I became CEO and owner of my Bitterroot Clinic, Active Care Family Chiropractic, where I practiced for 9 years.  After providing 9 years of dedicated Chiropractic service to the Bitterroot Valley (Montana), I moved to Big Sky December 2007 to be married to my hearts delight.  I am one of only two Montana chiropractors in the state with specific training from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to care for pregnancy and pediatric populations.  Currently I continue to enhance my skills and service to you by being enrolled in a diplomat program for Wellness through the International Chiropractic Association (ICA). 

My very incomplete list of passions outside the office have continued to be the great outdoors (hiking, camping, skiing, tennis, whitewater rafting, and most recently adding my first pet to my life, Little Chief, my horse; my family; my life of creativity, and my personal enhancement.) It has been my experience that chiropractic adjustments coupled with a healthy lifestyle are the best way to reach “true” wellness, happiness and life fulfillment.  It is my honor and privilege to serve you and your families in creating abundant health through lifestyle coaching utilizing a holistic, wellness based chiropractic approach.  Here is to bright futures and living well and living young!
